A browser-based interactive archive piece developed in semester 2. The Altars Archive System uses the altar as an organizational logic for archival documents — objects arranged on surfaces, relationships made visible through proximity rather than hierarchy.
The system allows navigation through a constellation of objects and documents, each carrying its own charge, each in relation to others on the same surface. The altar as interface: devotional, spatial, non-linear.
